Wildlife Watch at Lyman Run

Hit the trail with park staff at Lyman Run State Park on Saturday, December 20, 2025, for a Wildlife Watch that offers you up-close access to our region’s wildlife. The watch runs from 12 PM – 2 PM ; meet at the Top of the Dam.

As one of the few large lakes in Potter County, the lake at Lyman Run State Park serves as a valuable stop-over habitat for many different types of migrating waterbirds and as home for other wildlife. Stop by the top of the dam and scope the lake with a park naturalist looking for eagles, grebes, otter, and more!
